Salt Lake 2002 Olympic Winter Games
Senior Production & Installation Manager – December 1999 to April 2002
The 2002 Winter Olympics, officially the XIX Olympic Winter Games and commonly known as Salt Lake 2002, was an international winter multi-sport event that was held from February 8 to 24, 2002 in 15 competition and non-competition venues throughout the Wasatch Front in northern Utah (Midway, Ogden, Provo, Salt Lake City, and West Valley City).
As the program manager for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games “Look of the Games,” I oversaw a $12 million branding initiative spanning 15 venues and over 20,000 visual elements. From concept to execution, I developed and engineered permit-ready construction packages, created and awarded RFPs, and enforced visual standards in alignment with both IOC and SLOC requirements. Leading a multi-vendor team of installers, contractors, and staff, I ensured the flawless production, installation, and removal of all graphic elements—delivering a cohesive, world-class visual experience on a global stage.
